Heflin - Betty Rudine Morgan, 73, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Stringfellow Hospital.

Rudine was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County and member of Hurricane United Methodist Church. Rudine loved spending time with her entire family, especially her grandson Chance. She loved working outside in her yard and having plants or fresh flowers in the house. She has been married to the love of her life for 56 years, was a caregiver by nature and will always be his angel.

Rudine was preceded in death by her parents, Benson and Inez Hyatt; a sister, Barbara Morgan; two brothers, Verlin and Verbon Hyatt; a sister-in-law, Lucy; and a brother-in-law, Jim.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Morgan; a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan (Amber) Morgan; a grandchild, Chance Morgan; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon (Francis) Hyatt and Larry (Sharon) Hyatt.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Mark Hilburn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Zach Allen, Arthur Thompson, Donnie Eason, Chad Austin, Jeff Hyatt, Blayne Hyatt, Allen Barnett, and Hunter Allen.

Burial will follow in Hurricane Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, January 14, 2022, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM.
