Bryce Andrew DeBoy, age 32, a resident of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, in Dunkirk, Indiana.

He was a 2008 graduate of Jay County High School and had worked at Fort Recovery Industries and FCC in Portland.

He enjoyed being a father and being with his children. He was an avid Miami Dolphins football fan, enjoyed watching movies and most of all loved his rock music.

Bryce DeBoy was born May 22, 1989, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Rex DeBoy and Tami (Holloway) Toney.

His parents — Rex DeBoy (wife: Honey), Albany, Indiana, and Tami Toney, Portland, Indiana

Girlfriend — Christine Brown, Portland, Indiana

Two sons — Corbin Brown and Reign DeBoy

One daughter — Addison DeBoy

Two sisters — Chelsea Guggenbiller (husband: Dustin), Portland, Indiana, and Nia May (husband: Jeremy), Albany, Indiana

Grandfather — Joseph Andrews, Albany, Indiana

Nieces and nephews — Crosby and Karlee May, Carsyn and Hayden Guggenbiller

Several aunts, uncles and cousins

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerry Holloway and Helen Holloway, Rita Andrews, Rex DeBoy and Gloria Faris.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral home in Portland. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Bryce DeBoy will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Claycomb Cemetery, west of Portland.
