Timothy Glenn Pruitt, age 66 of Oxford, passed away on January 4, 2022. A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced later.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Susan Smith Pruitt; sons, Timothy Dustin Pruitt, Jared Scott Pruitt, Zachary Tyler Pruitt; grandchildren, Gabe, Mandalynn, Haleigh, Bryce, Hallie, Ellis, Vaxan and Rozzlynn; brothers, Mike Pruitt (Sue), Eddy Pruitt; sister, Sheila Totherow (Jack); father in law, John R Smith of Ohatchee and also many brothers and sisters in law.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lauren Ashley Pruitt, and his parents, Tracy and Novella Pruitt.

There are no words to express this great loss. Tim was one of the good ones. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none. He was the best pop, dad, husband, and father in love.

He loved his family with all his heart and being, especially his children and grandchildren.

He was a huge sports fan. He loved the Atlanta Braves and the Crimson Tide. Tim was well known as a car salesman for many years in both Calhoun and Cleburne County, He was a big softball fan and played until he was diagnosed with Pulmonary artery hypertension or PAH. He later received a lung transplant at Duke University Hospital. He and his family are huge proponents of Organ Transplant. His daughter Lauren was an organ donor. She saved several people with her gift of donation and in return Tim was saved by someone else's gift. He will truly be missed by all.
