ELIZABETH "BETTY" L. BAILEY, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022. She was born on Oct. 17, 1928.

She was married to Ray E. Bailey, he preceded her in death in 1997.

She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1958, Purdue University, and then received her Master's degree in Nursing from Indiana University. She worked in various nursing locations and positions, retiring from the VA Hospital in 1990. Over the years she volunteered in several areas such as Girl Scouts, Matthew 25, etc.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Marcelle Brennan; and brothers, Thomas Brennan and Patrick Brennan.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at St. Anne Home, with calling one hour prior to mass. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 4 p.m. Family requests that friends and family wear masks for all services.
