James A. Ross, 68, of North Smithfield, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 1, 2022, Born in San Pedro, CA., He was the son of James and Lucy (Cunningham) Ross. He was the loving husband of 22 years to Cheryl (Anderson) Ross.

He worked for Balise Auto for 6 years prior to working for and retiring from Fed Ex where he was a driver for 25 years.

He loved fishing and hunting.

Besides his wife Cheryl, he was survived by his children, Christopher Lynch (Ashley), John (Brittney) Lynch, and Michael McKnight.

He was the loving grandfather of William, Ronan, Mackenzie, Zoe, and Julius, and Jason to whom he was also Godfather.

He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Ross.

James will be missed by everyone including his dog Kobe and cat Smokey.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 5 – 7:00 PM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. RI. Burial will be private.
