Though her heart was full of love for family she always made room for the children in her neighborhood. She would hand out candy canes to children running down the street at Christmas time or give them Christmas decorations for their first home when they grew up. In the Summertime she enjoyed her flowers in her flowerbeds and would always try to fit more flowers in because she enjoyed them so much. Beverly was a beautiful, loving, and funny woman. She was a mother, granny, and a sister. If you had a rough day or just needed to get away, she was everyone's safe haven.
Survived by her brother Michael P Overton, three children: Marvin K Hasty III, Lynnette K Hasty and Melissa S Fitts. Also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and her dog: Tootsie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Neal, her parents Earl and Rosemary Overton and her brother Ronald Overton.
Beverly brought peace and comfort too everyone's life and will truly be missed.
