August 16, 1946 - January 9, 2022

Robert Eugene Bell Jr., 75, of Stockton, passed away Sunday January 9, 2022, at Phelps Health in Rolla, MO. He was born on August 16, 1946, to Robert and Marge Bell in Kansas City, Mo. They moved to a farm near Roscoe when he was an infant.

He was baptized in 1961. He joined the Air Force in June of 1966, and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida before being deployed to Thailand for a year.

He married Irene, and they moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where he was stationed. He made Sergeant before being discharged in 1970.. He eventually settled in Stockton, MO., where he was an active member of the Stockton Christian Church. He retired from Kerr Millwork.

He enjoyed nature, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, bird watching, sunrises, and sunsets, whether on the side of a mountain or out his back door. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed life.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene: three children, Beverly Stockstill and husband Larry, Regina Hastings and husband Jayson, Rob Bell and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Cody, Hunter, Ashton, Kylee, Bella, Raylan, Alyvia, and Connor; sisters, Donna Parks and husband John, Karen Keeton and husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marge; sister Cindy Park; and grandson William Crockett.

Services were Wednesday, January 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the Stockton Christian Church with burial in Cedar Gap Cemetery (on Stockton Dam) with full military honors. Visitation was Tuesday 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
