Wayne worked as an over the road truck driver, and was a member of Highway Baptist Church. Wayne enjoyed working in his yard and on his house, and liked tinkering with motorcycles and cars.
Mr. Coulter was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Carl Coulter; and a sister, Margie Harris.
He is survived by five sons, Jimmy Wayne Coulter of Texas, Wayne Coulter, Jr. and wife Nadine of Oklahoma, Jerry Wayne Coulter of West Memphis, Billy Wayne Coulter and wife Carolyn of Proctor, and Chris Coulter of Wynne; four daughters, Melissa Ann Coffey of Wynne, Pamela Ruth Pendleton and husband Maurice of Jonesboro, Christine Ann Coulter of North Little Rock, and Michelle of Texas; a brother, Robert Coulter and wife Doris of Morrilton; a sister, Jean Woodruff of Van Buren; his niece and caregiver, Paula McGee and husband Bill of Wynne; 13 grandchildren, Gabriella Coulter, Garrett Coulter, Allie Hadley, Rico Coffey, Ania Ann Coffey, King Coffey, Makayla Pendleton, Maurice Pendleton, Jr., Maxwell Pendleton, Valoree Coulter, Jordan Coulter, Laura, and Justina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Wynne with Bro. Dayton Barnes and Bro. Tracy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Rico Coffey, Chris Coulter, T.J. Holliday, and Maurice Pendleton. Honorary pallbearer is Billy Coulter.
