Carol passed away at home peacefully on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the age of 80.
She was born on June 3, 1941 and was raised in New Orleans. Carol lived in Mandeville for the past thirty years where she was surrounded by family and friends. She lived the last two and a half years with her son and family in Hammond.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Claire Sturcke Seaman, her father, James Millander Seaman, sisters Laura Seaman Stroup and Dorothy (Jill) Seaman Schaub.
She is survived by her son, Eddie J. Laine Jr. and his wife Charmin Guillot Laine, her grandchildren, Eddie J. Laine III, (Hallie Scott Laine), Emily Laine, Abby Laine and James Millander Laine, and her two precious great grandchildren, London Nicole Laine, and Eddie Joseph Laine IV, and her sister Cynthia Seaman LaChute, nieces and nephews, David Schaub, Jennifer Stroup Swinyer, Rebecca Stroup Hartman, Allison LaChute Smith, Ashley LaChute Wiggins, Patrick LaChute and Ross LaChute.
She will by missed dearly by her family and friends. Her life will be celebrated in a private family service where she will be laid to rest at Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula, LA.
