Kenneth Russell "Rusty" Cook, Sr., 60 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, January 10, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born on December 22, 1961 in Hardin County.
A, member of Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission and was the owner of Cook's Carpet and Flooring.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Cook; his parents, Earl H.and Mary Kathryn Johnson Cook; a brother, William Cook and a sister, Linda Tharpe.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya Cook; two sons, Kenny Cook and Levi Cook; a daughter, Leslie Cook; a step son, Logan Miller; two sisters, Barbara Douthitt and Alicia Clark and four grandchildren, Kaylea, Austin, Jayla and Bentley.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Douthitt officiating. Burial will follow in Cook Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and continue after 12 noon on Friday at the funeral home
