Glyn-Nell Harris Franklin went to be with the Lord January 7th, 2022. Born on December 7th, 1943, to Glen Harris and Nellie Garner in San Antonio Texas, she spent her youth in South Texas.
She was an avid crafter and her lifelong passion was creating original works of art in all mediums. Married for 40 years to William A. Franklin, she lived in El Paso, Texas, for many years, and then Conroe, Texas, for the remainder of her life.
Glyn-Nell is survived by her three children: Kelli Guyton, Chris Wernli and Paul Franklin; as well as her grandchildren: Eryn Guyton, Alyssa Wernli , Alison Wernli and Lukas Mateo Franklin. She is predeceased by her brother, Floyd Harris, and was able to spend her final years with her beloved sisters, Mayme Awbrey and Karen Farley, and her many nieces and nephews.
Glyn-Nell was a proud member of the Daughters of the Republic, and an avid supporter of St Jude's Children's Hospital. She was a proud mom to her fur babies, Patrick and Peanut.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Boerne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org or local SPCA.
