She was born in Lewisburg on June 10, 1971, the daughter of Karl and Patricia (Stellar) Kort.
Jennifer was a 1989 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She worked as an LPN at several local nursing homes and hospitals
On June 25, 1994 she married Lawrence Fisher in St. Casimir's Church.
Jennifer was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Lawrence Fisher of Marion Heights; two sons, Ciaran Fisher and Sean Fisher, both of Marion Heights; parents, Karl Kort and wife, Patricia; maternal grandmother, Irene Stellar; a brother, Nathan Kort and wife, Denise of Kulpmont; two sisters, Alicia Fogelman and husband, David of Watsontown and Rebecca Jones and husband, Jerry of Dunmore; a niece, Adeline Jones; and three nephews, Asher Jones, Spencer Fogelman, and Maxwell Fogelman. Jennifer was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Kort; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Dolores Fisher; maternal grandfather, Raymond Stellar; and paternal grandfather and grandmother, Michael and Dorothy Kort.
