Obituary for Helen Parker

Helen Elaine Reagan was born in Lyman, Nebraska on Wednesday, April 10, 1929, to Frank and Beulah (Morehouse) Reagan. She passed from this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

Helen was one of four children born to the Reagans. She grew up in Falcon, Missouri and attended school there. The family moved to Oklahoma, and she graduated from Central High School in 1946. She married Oran Lee Parker in March 1946 and the two of them had three children. After she raised her children, Helen went to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa for over 21 years.

Besides her three children, she had seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, sisters: Mildren and Emogene, brother, Eugene, a stillborn son, and granddaughter, Keisha.

A Graveside Service to honor the life of Helen Parker will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Committal Shelter of Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
Viewing will be on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Hayhurst Funeral Home from 12:00-8:00 PM and Visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM.
