Obituary
Jason R. Blaylock, age 45 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis on Sunday, January 9, 2022. His funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2022 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Pamela Hughes officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Hunter Smothers, Nicholas Blaylock, Alvin Smothers and Donny Wills.
Visitation for Mr. Blaylock is scheduled after 11:00 A.M. Friday until time of service.
Jason Ricky Blaylock was born September 17, 1976 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Ricky Blaylock and Patricia Smothers Blaylock who survives in Paris. He is survived by his brother, Nicholas Blaylock of Paris; step-sister, Tiffany Mohon Bishop of Paris; and by uncles, Mike Blaylock, Bryan Gump, Alvin Smothers and Bill Smothers.
Besides his father, Jason is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Smothers.
Jason was one of God's "Special Children". He was a really happy young man who liked swimming and loved people watching. He also enjoyed going to parties at his group home.
