Robert "Bobby" Otto McDougall of McKinney, Texas passed away August 9, 2017, at the age of 67. He was born December 17, 1949, to Herbert Emil McDougall Hazel Moraine (Hicks) McDougall in San Antonio, Texas. Bobby married the love of his life, Bennie Lee Gray on July 11, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as a commercial property manager in San Antonio for multiple companies. In 2008, Bobby retired from his career in McKinney, Texas from General Electric as a district facilities manager. He loved to garden, tend to his beautiful yard, and sit on the patio and drink coffee. Bobby was a lover of animals and is surely enjoying the company of all his beloved pets. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family passionately especially his wife, children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Bennie Gray McDougall of McKinney, Texas; children, Robin Coleman of Euless, Texas, Sissy Mauppin and husband Dominick of Fort Worth, Texas, Steven Haynes and wife Tricia of LaVernia, Texas, and Stacie Schendel and husband Adam of Austin, Texas; siblings, Hazel Wetzel and husband Tommy of San Antonio, Texas, Herbie McDougall and wife Alice of San Antonio, Texas, Wanda Bublik and husband Rick of St. George, Utah, Beverly Leiding and husband Fred of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Wylie McDougall of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Morgan Alyse Burkey, Kaiden Ryan Conner Burkey, Austin Haynes, Chase Mauppin, and Madison Mauppin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
