Graveside services for Mrs. Lillie Marcel Smith Jackson, age 65 of Tyler will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Beaver Springs Cemetery, Henderson. Burial will follow under the direction of Garmon Funeral Home.

Ms. Lillie Marcel Jackson was born to the late Thomas and Verbal Cameron Smith on May 27, 1954. She gained her wings and entered eternal rest on March 22, 2020.

Marcel attend John Lee High School class of 1972. She continued her education at Tyler Junior College and studied pharmacology. She worked in the health care profession for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Smith and mother Verbal Cameron Smith.

She leaves to cherish and to carry on her legacy of love, her son, Lucky Jackson (Lita) of Duncanville, Texas and daughter, Verbal Jackson Lewis (James) of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Thomas C. Smith of Tyler, Texas and Author Glen Williams (Amanda) of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren, Shanice Jackson, Sharnina Jackson, Robert Wilson, Devonte Jackson, Shaquelia Wilson and Myles Hook; a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and also, a special friend Stephanie Boddie.

No public viewing will be held prior to service date.
