Priscilla "Pru" Widner Turner, 70, of Gamaliel, Arkansas, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born in Portageville, Missouri and was the daughter of the late J.W. "Dub" and Wanna Widner. While living in Sikeston, she was an employee of the Asgrow Seed Company/Monsanto until retirement. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter in Sikeston, and very active as a Boy Scout and Webelo troop leader. She was a member of Sikeston Presbyterian Church. Pru was a life-long lover of boating, camping, scuba diving, fishing and doing anything outdoors alongside her husband. Pru never met a stranger. She will be remembered for her outgoing nature, determination, positive spirit, and her love for family and friends.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 43 years, Jerre W. Turner of

Gamaliel; one son, John Paul Turner of Portageville; and a daughter, Crystal Turner Ellis of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kallie B Turner and William Lynn Turner of Portageville, Robert Clay Ellis II and Edgar Turner Ellis of Little Rock, and Evelyn Elizabeth Ellis of Jonesboro; and great-grandchildren, Harper Grace Stacy, Charlie Walter Stacy, Gabriella B Stacy and Chase Allen Robert Stacy, of Portageville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Lippstreu of Portageville First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
