Mrs. W.L. Bausman Dies.

Mrs. Mary A. Bausman, wife of W.L. Bausman, janitor of the Whittier school building, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, aged 54 years, 4 months and 27 days. Cancer was the cause. Mrs. Bausman came here a few years ago from Chautuaqua county. She leaves no children. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Christian church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. Arthur Long and the burial will be made in the family lot in Elmwood cemetery.

Obituary of Mrs. Bausman.

Mary A. Wright was born June 9, 1862, in Carroll county, Ark. She was married to Wm. Kelley of Missouri in 1882; after his death in 1884 she came to Chautauqua county, Kan., where her father's family had preceded her. She made her home at various places in the county, the last being Niotaze, where she was engaged in the restaurant business. There she became acquainted with W.L. Bausman, of this city, to whom she was married November 4, 1911, since which time until her death, November 6, 1916, they have made their home in this city. She became a member of the Christian church last spring. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, W.L. Bausman, her mother, five brothers and three sisters. Two brothers and two sisters, A.F. Wright, Wayside, Okla.; I.D. Wright, Elk City, Kan.; Mrs. Belle McCurry, Peru, Kan.; Mrs. Mattie Ferguson, Monett, Kan., were at the funeral. Other relatives present were T.C. McCurry and Leon and Ruth McCurry of Peru, Kan., Bertha Ferguson of Monett, Kan., Mrs. R.W. Weeks of Wilsonton, a sister of Mr. Bausman and John Bausman of Nowata, Okla, his son with his wife.
