Younger of two children (sister, Toni Lynette) born to George Arthur & Florence Maye (Edwards) Warren — who married 30 April 1943 in Yakima County, Washington. His parents ultimately divorced (abt 1949) & both second married. His mother died 9 October 1988 in the Portland area; her body was taken back to Yakima for burial.

John earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal."

provided by the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) of Oregon.
