Rev. Phillip D. Priddy, 79 of Chesapeake went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2022.

He was pastor of Chesapeake Apostolic Church and was a former coal miner. He was also formerly employed at Union Carbide. He was a former WV District UPCI Home Missions Director and Church Camp Director (Holy Hill).

He was preceded in death by Parents: Herman and Margaret Young Priddy, Brothers: Robert and James Priddy and Sister in law: Gail Shelton.

Surviving Are:

His loving wife of 60 years: Patty Shelton Priddy of Chesapeake,

Sons: Greg (Jo Dee) Priddy of Grayson, KY,
Benjamin (Regina) Priddy of Chesapeake,

Daughter: Karin Edmonds of Chesapeake,

Sisters: Kay Thomas and Charlotte Thomas,

Sister in law: Margaret (Jim) Nations,

Brother in law: Bob Shelton,

His Best Friends: Carl Roberts and Marty Knight,

Grandchildren: Thomas Lee (Courtney) Priddy, Zachary (Samantha) Priddy, Mercedes (K.D.) Jones, Jordan Edmonds, Destiny Edmonds,

Beloved Step-Grandchildren: Britney (Dalton) Smith, Lauren Smith and Emma Smith,

Numerous spiritual grandchildren including: Matthew (Ann) McDaniel, Lora (Eric) Drenner, Jule Gallion, Rachel Duncan and siblings, Anna Marie West and siblings, Patricia Clark, Fred, Amber and David Kitchen, many, many others and many great grandchildren.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday January 15, 2022 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Per his wishes, he will be cremated after the service.
