Janet Darlene Moore, age 77, passed away on January 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Franklin Pierce Steele and Virgie May Steele, Siblings; Virginia Huddleson-Barger, Helen Paris, Edward Snowden Steele, Paul Steele, Frank Steele, Ray Steele, Jim Steele, Jack Steele and Charlie Steele, She is survived by her children; Roy Pierce (Lori) Workman, Melissa May (John) Cordes, Siblings; Grandchildren; Roy Pierce (R.J.) Workman, Jr., Joshua Pierce Cordes, David Workman - Reynolds, Great Grandchildren; Brantley Pierce Workman and Emilia Rose Workman, Step Grandchildren; John Cordes Jr., Melissa J. (Ryan) Hunley, John I. Talley, Mathew Talley, Faith Talley, Caleb Patton, Chase Workman, Adrianna Workman, Adah Mattilyn Janet Grace Workman, Step Great Grandchildren; Ryan Hunley, Natalie Hunley, Gabe Hunley and Eden Hunley and many dear nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed bowling (bowled score of 300 in past), watching movies, playing cards, attending church and spending time with her family. She always offered an encouraging word to everyone she knew just to lift up their spirits. She was kindhearted, strong-willed, always sweet, funny and a prayer warrior that could always reach the throne room of God. Her family and friends will miss her dearly but know that she is in the arms of Jesus and with the heavenly angels and at peace with God in heaven.
Visitation will be Friday January 14, 2022 10:00AM - 11:00AM with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM all at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center St. Milford, OH. Burial at Plainview Cemetery and then there will be food and refreshments for everyone at the Williams Corner Church of God 6162 SR 132 Goshen after the burial from 12:30-2:00.
