The last of the "Cavallo Bouquet" has withered away.
Violet Pauline Cavallo Austin, born January 14, 1932, left this world for her heavenly home on January 6, 2022, just eight days shy of her 90th birthday.
She was the second child born to John and Marie Cavallo.
She and her siblings were known as the Cavallo Bouquet since my grandparents named them all after flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Austin; her two sons, Johnny Steele and Ricky Steele; and two, daughters Penny Sparks and Linda Forkum.
She leaves two daughters, Vicky Ward of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Ann Davis (Donald) with whom she resided, of Bartlett, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Violet was a member of The Italian-American Ladies Civic League and a member of St Mary's of Paragould. She loved her family and her friends and will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Mitchell Funeral Home Temporary Chapel, 2300 N 12th Ave, Paragould. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
