Chelsea passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chelsea was preceded in death by her Pop Paw, Ernest Becvar and her great-grandmother, Dorothy Mitchell. Chelsea is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Eileen Palmer and her beautiful sister Hailey Alexis. She is also survived by her devoted DoDo, Doris Becvar and leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Donnell and Lynn Kennerly, Donnie and Shauna Kennerly, Kevin Kennerly and fiance' Sarah Etelemaki, Steve, Brian and Stephen Michael Becvar, Stephanie and David Borghart, James and Michael Becvar, Gary, Stephen, Vance and Dalton Becvar, Wayne, Tammy, Justin and Austin Becvar, Brandy, Jason, Aiden and Parker Hulon. Relative overseas include Hilda Gray and family. Bob and Eileen Powell and family, Ron and Joan Sanderson and family, Jimmy and Doreen Sinnott and the family of Frank MacFarlane, deceased. Chelsea is also survived by grandparents, Dennis and Delores Palmer. Chelsea touched so many lives and was a very unique young lady who lived each day to the fullest. Her brilliant, blue eyes and shining smile will be missed by her many, many loving friends. Chelsea attended Sheldon ISD and was involved in many extra curricular activities. She was a cheerleader from 7th grade through her senior year where she served as head cheerleader. Chelsea was inducted into the National Honor Society her Sophomore year and participated in many UIL competitions and community service projects. Chelsea was very proud of her involvement with Judge Parrot's Teen Court and will always be remembered as our great debater! Chelsea was the Salutatorian of her 2007 graduating class of C.E. King High School and had just finished her first Semester at the University of Texas at Austin where she was enrolled in the Biomedical Engineering Program. Through the gift of Organ Donation, Chelsea lives on and her dream of being a research scientist has been fulfilled. Her love of education has inspired her family to establish the Chelsea Palmer Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Amegy Bank, 711 Louisiana, Suite 100, Houston, Texas 77002. The family wishes to thank all of Chelsea's extended family, Robert and Cathy Grossman, Steve and Gayle Waldman and Joel and Jamie Grossman for their continued love and support. They would also like to thank all of the families who sat with them during their week in the shock-trauma unit at Memorial Hermann Hospital. They will forever be in their thoughts and prayers. Pallbearers will be Donnell Kennerly, Donnie Kennedy, Kevin Kennerly, Wayne Becvar James Becvar and Michael Becvar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cory Hines, Cody Eckerman, Shane Mikelejewski, Bradley Connor, Jonathan Garner and Daniel Granger.
