Jack Ray Davis, age 72, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on January 6, 2022, at home in Murfreesboro.

He was born on February 24, 1949 in Maryville, Tennessee, to the late James Davis and Jean Cunningham. A United States Navy Veteran, he fought a valiant battle with his pancreatic cancer. He was a good hearted, blue collar man, with a great sense of humor, who loved the lake (when it was warm out). He was also passionate about sports. His favorites were basketball, boxing, football, and the Titans. He was a loving father and grandfather, caring even for children who weren't his own. He will be missed dearly.

In addition to his mother he is survived by children, Molli Carter (Travis), Jason Davis, Audrey Perdomo (Luis); 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Davis (Janet).

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a grandson, George.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Impact Fellowship, 650 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
