Born in Poland, Mrs. Rockoff was educated in the Everett Schools and was a graduate of Everett High School. She was employed as a senior aide with the Mystic Valley Elder Services of Malden. She was a member of Cong. Tifereth Israel of Everett and its sisterhood, a life member of Hadassah, and a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Rockoff is survived by two daughters, Maita Ruth Rockoff of Boston and Sheila Elfman and her husband, Harvey, of Wilmington; her son, Leonard J. Rockoff and his wife, Phyllis, of Danvers; her sister, Frances Gordon of Revere; and her grandchildren, Amy, Douglas, Matthew, and Lauren. She was the sister of the late Samuel, Saul, and Morris Rotman.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007 in the Torf Funeral Chapel in Chelsea. Rabbi David Klatzker of Cong. Ner Tamid in Peabody officiated. Burial followed in the New Tifereth Israel of Everett Cemetery in Everett.
