Amy Nellie Burke, 94, Elk Garden, W.Va., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, Keyser, W.Va.
Born June 12, 1913, in Sulphur, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Albert C. and Mattie M. (Lyons) Dixon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Conrad W. Burke.
She was a member of Sulphur Methodist Church and sang in the church choir for many years.
She is survived by two sons;and three grandchildren.
Friends were received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller, where a service was held in the chapel on Saturday, Dec. 22, with the Rev. Donald E. Marple officiating.
Interment followed in the Kalbaugh Cemetery.
