Born In Providence RI to mother Margaret Bernor and father Sheldon Spencer, Sr, James (Jimmy or Shane as he was called too) was a very great man. He was 1 of 10 brothers and sisters. He was a military man. U. S. Navy Seal Commander for 34 years, retired. He loved the sea. It was his home. James was a humble man who cared much for his family. He had 8 children all together, step children included. He enjoyed playing games with his grandchildren, collecting movies he enjoyed, and making memories. There was nothing too out of reach for his family. He was married to his current wife for 17 years. He was 68 years old at the time of his death at his home in Monterey, TN.
He is survived by his wife: Tresia Spencer; children: Laura, Seth (wife Kayla), Ethan (wife Kristie), Jody, Payton (Husband Timothy), and Mykayla ;and GrandChildren: Sarah, J.J., Emily, Ryan, Amos, Molly, and one on the way; Siblings: Cathy (husband Bubba), Billy (Deceased), Steven (Deceased), and Charles (Deceased), Joan, Teresa, Lisa, Linda, and Annie and older brother Sheldon Spencer Jr
