SUSAN C. AKIN age 68 of Lakeland, Florida formerly of Mount Morris, died peacefully surround by her family on Saturday January 8, 2022 at her home in Geneseo, NY. She was born the daughter of George and Carol (Williams) Hall on July 16, 1953 in Warsaw, NY. She married Douglas Akin on January 17, 1987. Prior to her retirement in 2008 she was a teacher at Groveland Correctional Facility and prior at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 37 years. She was a member and longtime Organist of the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora, Ladies Aid group at the church, CSEA and the Keshequa Grange #1418. She was also an Antique Collector and Dealer. She loved sewing, quilting, going to flea markets, driving Bus for several years for the Arc of Livingston/Wyoming and was an Animal lover.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Carol Hall and brothers David and Robert Hall.

at the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora.

Interment in Dutch Street Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
