Mass of Christian burial for Nellie I. Moran Slusser, 91, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka with the Rev. Harry Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Slusser died Saturday, Oct. 17, 1992, at the Topeka Convalescent Center.

She was born Nov. 14, 1900, in Auburn to Francis Melvin and Margaret Hadden Moran. She taught school before her marriage and was a homemaker most of her life.

Mrs. Slusser was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the Altar Society at the church and a former member of the Busy Bee Club.

She married Thomas Francis Slusser on Aug. 8, 1928, in Osage City. He died May 2, 1970. A daughter, Rita Kay Slusser, died in 1945, and another daughter, Mary Rose Stormann, died May 20, 1974.

Survivors include five sons, Thomas Francis Slusser Jr., Hubert Augustine Slusser and Paul Victor Slusser, all of Topeka, Galen Richard Slusser, Wichita, and Louis Claire Slusser, Baldwin; four daughters, Margaret Irene Meyers, Towson, Md., Frances Louise Carlson, Topeka, Patricia Ann Woods, North Canton, Ohio, and Carol Joan Peters, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a sister, Mary Sage, Topeka; 40 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
