Nadine Annis, 95, of Royalton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 5:35 a.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Herrin Hospital.

Nadine was born on January 5, 1926 in Pittsburg to Luther Lane and Beulah (Council) Coulson. She was united in marriage to John William Annis. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1974.

Nadine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting with her neighbors. She was a long time faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Royalton.

She is survived by her son, Roger Dale (Shirley Jo) Lowery Sr. of Royalton; two grandchildren, Cindy (Shawn) Cochran and Roger Lowery Jr., both of Royalton; four great-grandchildren, Jesse Vernell Cochran of Royalton, Kendall Dale Cochran of Carbondale, Jessica Lynn Lowery of O'Fallon and Erica Lynn Lowery of Edwardsville; two brothers, Donnie (Mary) Colson of Herrin and Ronnie Colson of Royalton; one sister, Mavis Reynolds of Ferges; special friend, Verla Grammar of Royalton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Nadine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John William Annis; four brothers, Lloyd Lane, Gene Lane, Leon Lane and Bud Colson; sister, Lodema Ray.

A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2021 at Church of the Nazarene in Royalton with Pastor Dan Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Royalton Church of the Nazarene. Envelopes will be available at the church the day of the service.
