He proudly served his country as a United States Navy Seabee until he was honorably discharged in April of 1967.
For many years, he was employed in management at Teledyne Technologies until his retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed bass fishing. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his wife Kathleen, he is survived by his two sons; his grandchildren; a brother. Gerald was predeceased by his brother, Robert Cooper and his sister Sandra Joy.
