Katherine "Kay" Cummings, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2022.
Kay is preceded in death by her husband Don; son Dave; daughter-in-law Laurie; and sons-in-law Tom and Mac. She is survived by her children Patrick (Linda), Marcia, Cindy Brownell, Debbie McNamara, and Steve (Gloria); 11 grandchildren and grand-stepdaughters; and her great-grandchildren.
She was born to Elmer and Verna Kratz in Chicago, IL in 1927. She married William (Don) Cummings on April 12, 1947. They raised their children in Bloomington, MN. Her family was her world and her great legacy. Her infectious smile and loving wisdom will be deeply missed. A private family service will be held January 26, 2022 at White Funeral Home Burnsville. Interment will take place at Bloomington Cemetery at a later date.
