Obituary of Gerald W. Billingsley
Billingsley, Gerald W. "Jerry" of Rochester passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Betty (Haldeman) Billingsley, and a brother, Thomas.
Mr. Billingsley is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane K. (Harris) Billingsley; Daughters, Marabeth (Robert) Galardi, Kimberley (Brian) Panepento, Christine Hearty. Grandchildren, Alexa (Mark) Stitt, Justin (Brianna) Galardi, Abigail Billingsley, Joshua Hearty. Sisters, Bonnie McMullen and Pat (Terry) Shinnick. Great-grandchildren, Camden Stitt, Kylie Stitt, Avery Stitt and Jackson Stitt. Several nieces and nephews.
Jerry worked as a pipefitter for Eastman Kodak with over 35 years of dedicated services. Jerry will always be remembered as the "Go to Guy" in his family and the community. He was always lending a hand mowing,snowblowing and fixing things for his family and neighbors. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, watching soccer games, Nascar, and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes football games, but most importantly he cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.
Jerry's memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in Holy Ghost Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
