Roland Gene Amsler Sr., 85 of Eckford, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1936, in Homer to Vernon "Pete" and Goldie (Gallant) Amsler. On June 2, 1956, Roland married Diamantina (Ramirez) and she preceded him in death on June 11, 1976.
Gene is survived by two daughters; two sons; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Diamantina, Gene was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Verna Farmer, Ethel "Norie" Rapp, Harold Amsler, Caddie Amsler, Vernon Amsler, Nancy Kilbourn and Zenith Pratley.
