He was born July 9, 1932, son of the late Nicholas and Hattie Lyons Rodgers.
Bill was a bricklayer and a farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of The Ranch Sportsmans Club Inc., Bricklayers Local #1 Wheeling, WV, where he was a 50 year Gold Card Member, and a Cave Club Gold Card Member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy L. Bonar; second wife, Donna B. Gardner; grandson, Craig A. Rodgers; and stepson, Richard Lee Gardner.
He is survived by his children, sister, 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend.
Friends will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, Wheeling, WV where services will be held, Interment to follow in West Alexander Cemetery.
