Demetrius Randolph Eoff, a twin to his brother, Demarkus Lafayette Eoff, was the son of James Monroe Eoff and Harriet Katherine Klepper. He married Ruth Ann Wingate June 2, 1898 in Boone Co, Arkansas. Their children were Katie Leah (Eoff) Leonard, Demetrius R "Dee" Eoff, Jr, Howard Lafayette Eoff, Ruth E (Eoff) Leonard, Ralph Raymond Eoff and James Burton Eoff. Demetrius Eoff, Sr, was partly self-educated and he and his wife, Ruth, were school teachers. He also was a contractor and house builder. He lived in Boone, Newton and Washington Counties, Arkansas, and after his wife's death, moved to Little Rock to live with his daughter Ruth. At the age of 91 years he wrote a short but well-written autobiography, very descriptive of the way of life for people living in that part of Arkansas and in that particular time period. He died at the age of 96.
