Wanda Baugh Thomas, 71 years of age, of Jamestown, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Wanda was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 20th, 1950, daughter of the late Charlie Baugh and Jewell Sweet Baugh-Gossett. She was a member of Creelsboro Christian Church and enjoyed to camping, dancing, singing, and baking. She loved reading and working cross word puzzles. Most of all Wanda, cherished spending time with her family.
Wanda was survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Slim Charles Thomas; one son, Eddie Thomas of Somerset, Kentucky; one daughter, Angela Pigman (and Steven) of Russell Springs, Kentucky; two brothers, Jerry Baugh (and Geneva) of Somerset, Kentucky and Jackie Baugh (and Debbie) of Science Hill, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tiara (and Garrett) Helm, Marcus Chaney, Lukus Chaney, Laura Thomas, Shane Thomas, and Sabrina Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Erika Helm, Landon Thomas, Blaine Thomas, and Calie Thomas; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Baugh, who departed this life on December 8th, 1967 and Jewell Baugh-Gossett, who departed this life on November 10th, 2001; and one brother, William "Bill" Baugh.
In accordance with Wanda's wishes the family has chosen cremation as final disposition with services held at a later date.
The Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky was in charge of the arrangements for Wanda.
