Lisa Marie Buck, age 56, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, December 31st, 2021, at The Grove of Fox Valley in Aurora. She was born July 23rd, 1965 at St Anne's Hospital in Chicago. She married Jerry Buck Jr, March 25th, 1983 at Wheaton Bible Church, Wheaton.

She worked with the Kindergarten class at the YMCA in Glen Ellyn, she adored working with children and loved thinking of new ways to engage with them and make their days brighter. Lisa enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking, bicycle riding and gardening. She spent many days at Starved Rock State Park in Illinois with her family hiking and camping. She struggled with many health issues but faced them with a resilience and courage that was inspiring.

Lisa is survived by her 3 children Rachel Buck, Alexandria Csolkovits & Jerry Buck III "JB"; her mother, Nancy LaFauce; her mother-in-law Beth Wood; her sisters and their families. The Muenstermans- Jennifer (sister), Michael (brother-in-law), Sarah (niece). The Dorans-Allison (sister) Jay (brother-in-law), Eli (nephew), Noah (nephew), Ava (niece); Her sister-in-law and her family, The Momtazees- Callene (sister-in-law), John (brother-in-law), Samantha (niece), Julia (niece) & John "Jack" (nephew); She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Buck Jr, her father James LaFauce, her sister-in-law Kimberly Buck and her brother Jeff.

Family was important to Lisa and she was glad to be able to move back to Illinois to spend one more Christmas season with her children.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 15th from 11 AM until time of service at Noon. If you wish to attend virtually via Zoom, please email your contact information to [email protected] and it will be shared with the family.
