George Allen Kelly, 63, died Monday, December 27, at Hot Springs Health hospital in Thermopolis, Wyoming.

Born July 5, 1958 in Great Falls, MT, he was one of seven children of George and Goldie (McGovern) Granger. Following his graduation from high school he joined his family in Thermopolis in 1974.

Although disabled he enjoyed a full life. Active in the Eagles Lodge, as was his entire family, he served a time as President. He was proud of his 22 year sobriety aided by the Hot Springs Counseling Center who became part of his family. George enjoyed watching football, auto racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, and talking like Daffy Duck. He loved his Coke Cola and collecting its memorabilia.

Survivors include his sister, Shirley Wright of Green River, WY; brothers, Gordon Kelly of AZ, Robert Kelly and Charles Granger, both of Thermopolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Patsy Kelly and sister, Jeanie Sexton.

A memorial service will be held in 2022 in Hot Springs State Park on his birthday, July 5.
