Marge was the eldest daughter of Michael and Mary (Krupski) Osiowy. She was born at Lemberg, Saskatchewan and grew up on the family farm.

She married Gordon Leniczek on October 17, 1950 and raised a family of 4 sons and 4 daughters.

She died of a heart attack while in hospital in Regina.
