Linda Jean Burdette Lawrence was born December 18, 1962 to the late Henry Lee Kimbro and Betty Jean Burdette. Linda attended Greene County Schools and was a candidate of the Class of 1980. Linda resided in Athens, GA where she spent most of her life. Linda was employed by the University of Georgia and the Kangaroo. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Tracey Burdette and Valeria Brown. Precious memories will forever be engraved in the heart of her only son, Samuel B. Lawrence, her mother Betty Jean Burdette, her brother Henry Calvin Burdette, her sisters, Toni Burdette, Arelie (Eugene) Hall Jr., Shirley (Johnny) West, Theresa Kimbro and Brenda Lee Kimbro.A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and close friends. A special cousin, Jacqueline S. Johnson. Graveside service will be held Tuesday 11 am at the Sawdust Cemetery, Siloam, GA.
