David Storment and Nancy Boyd were married in Chester District in 1788 and farmed the property they owned until his death in 1810. After David's will was settled, Nancy Storment, her children and her mother moved to Kentucky, making their home with a cousin, Mr. Hagewood. The trip to Kentucky was made in a one-horse cart. The following year, the family group completed their move to Gibson County, Indiana.
