Irene Brown Davis, 81, of Robbins, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at home. She was born in Randolph County on November 2,1940 to John Wesley and Mary Ida Caviness Brown. Irene was a member of White Hall Methodist Church and attended Mt. Zion UMC and Robbins First Wesleyan Church. She was a hard worker and retired from the textile industry. Irene enjoyed visiting people and serving her community. She liked taking care of others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Brown Chriscoe and Vera Brown Rollins and brothers, Melvin Brown, Raymond Brown, Earl Brown and John Neil Brown.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann Davis; son, William (Freddie) Davis, Jr. (Jeana); sister, Anna Ruth Bland (Wayne); brothers, Russell Brown (Margaret), Cleo Brown (Carol), J.W. Brown (Wanda) and a host of family and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Joyce-Brady Chapel with Rev. Harold Thomas and Rev. Cameron Dockery presiding. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at Joyce-Brady Chapel before the service from 12:00 p.m.-12:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery Fund, 8616 Curtis Powers Rd., Bennett, NC 27208.
