Larry spent his childhood days in Pernell where he attended grade school and graduated from Pernell High School. He attended Southeastern State College where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree.
Larry and Bunny Madelyn Hill were married on May 29,1964 in the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City, OK. Larry worked in the oilfield and was employed by Texaco as a production foreman at the time of his retirement in 2002. Larry was a member of the Hennepin Baptist Church, a Hennepin Volunteer Fireman and board member.
His heart was most passionate about family. He embraced his children, grandchildren, and of course the great granddaughter with a deep assurance of his love. In the tradition of his parents, Carl and Fern Lee; daughters-in-law were treated "like daughters." Then there was ranching and raising cattle, other things Larry loved. To sum it up Larry was always checking on and there for his family and the cows.
He set an example of always showing respect to others, being dependable, honorable, and being a loving family man. He was a man who was not shy about letting other know he wanted to" eat what he wanted." He always said, "keep your nose in the wind."
Larry was preceded in death by: His parents, Carl Wesley and Fern (Mann) Lee, brother, Arnold Keith Lee, Sister, Wanda Lee Bass, brothers-in-law, James Morris, and Dean Worsham
