"Beulah Barnes Berry, 81, North Kansas City, MO, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005, at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel, 6600 N. Antioch, Gladstone, MO. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 57 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gallatin, MO.

Beulah was born March 5, 1924, in Cassville, MO, to Clarence and Myrtle Eacret. She was a retired CNA and had worked in that capacity in nursing home in Gallatin and Cameron, MO, until the young age of 78. Beulah was also active in the First Baptist Church of Gallatin and the Red Hat Club and was an accomplished poet.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Edward Barnes. Survivors include her husband, William Berry; daughters, Sharon Trotter and Joyce Haas; sons, ED Barnes, Jr. and Rodger K. Barnes; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild." The Kansas City Star, May 11, 2005
