Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 9:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 9:30 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home with military rites conducted. Memorials may be made to Great River Honor Flight or the Illinois Veterans Home Activities Fund. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. David married Susan Kaltenbach on April 19, 2016, in Quincy and she survives.
David loved playing cards, especially euchre. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Dolphins. David also volunteered at the Illinois Veterans Home.
