He was born in Keeseville, April 2, 1932, the son of Harold and Lillian (LaPorte) Bailey.
Ronald grew up in Keeseville where he owned and operated Bailey Funeral Home. He was a bus driver for Au Sable Valley School and served as Town of Chesterfield Justice for many years. Ronald was a member of Au Sable River Lodge as well as a life member of the Elks Club.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 61 years, Norma (Blaise) Bailey and their son, Todd (Tess) Bailey; his children, Harold Bailey, Shelly (Bailey) Frazier, Mark Bailey, and Cindy (Bailey) Cunningham; a special nephew, Ronnie Barber; special grandson, Brennan Bailey as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; son, Robert Paul; sister, Vivian Barber; sister-in-law, Shirley LaMountain; and great-grandchild, Allison Frazier.
There will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
