Michael Steven Ford, 73, born April 23rd, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri went to be with our heavenly father on March 18th, 2021 after suffering for a short time from pancreatic cancer. He was raised and lived in St. Louis prior to moving to Arkansas. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin "Mike" Edward Ford and Marion Ford.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Lewis Ford and children Sara Jane Ford from Boston, Michael Whitten Ford (Jennifer) from Chicago, and Charles Michael Lewis from Benton. Dear brother of William Ford and Nancy Biggs of St. Louis.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Sargent Ford served from 1969 to 1973, leading multiple successful tours into Vietnam as part of Company C 1st Battalion 6th Infantry.
Mike found much success in sales of multi-wall bags to commercial customers for 46 years. He was recognized for top sales at his company throughout his career. He loved the outdoors, playing golf, fishing and being a world class fixer of anything that was broken. His most favorite activity of all was spending time on his boat on Lake Hamilton with loved ones.
Mike and Evelyn enjoyed travel to many destinations within the U.S. They also lived in many beautiful homes that they designed and had constructed. Mike was a passionate teacher to many, always willing to share his broad skillsets with those who were in need of mentorship.
