On January 6, 2022, Karen Davis of Lincoln, passed away at the age of 74. She was born February 23, 1947 in Grand Island, NE to Loyal Ruhl & Clarice Ruby.


Karen married her first and only love, Marlin Davis on February 10, 1962, for more than 40 years, they owned and managed Gen-Mech Contractors together.


While a majority of her time was spent assisting her husband with their business and raising 6 children; Karen was often viewed as a mother to many, she was generous and kind to all that entered her home. Karen enjoyed hosting events and cooking for family and friends. In her quiet time she enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches.


Karen was survived by her 6 children: Monte Davis, Tracy (Dan) Wilson, Miles (Deb) Davis, Shon Davis, Tara Ellington & Ty Davis; siblings Dianne (Dean) Duncan, Kim (Todd) Reimers, Lori Jensen, Chuck Ruhl; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, former daughter in law Amy Davis; nieces, nephews & cousins.


She is preceded in death by her husband Marlin, father, mother and granddaughter, Jessica Davis.


A visitation for Karen will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. Private Family Service to be held at a later date.
