Florence was raised in Avoca, Steuben Co., NY. She went to Geneseo Normal School, for a degree in teaching. She taught elementary school in Wayne County, New York. She married Ernest Hofmann Wiedrich, MD. in Avoca, New York. Their only child, Ernest Lee Wiedrich was raised in Ontario, Wayne Co., NY. Sometime after the death of Dr. Wiedrich, Florence met and married her 2nd husband Samuel Craig, from Lynchberg Virginia. Florence lived in Lewiston, NY later in life. She enjoyed canning and cooking- the family has many of her pickle recipes. She died of a stroke (CVA) as a result of uncontrolled high blood pressure in 1961. Florence is next to first husband Ernest H. Wiedrich, MD. and son Ernest Lee Wiedrich, and granddaughter Janice Elaine Wiedrich, twin daughter of Ernest and Lorraine M. Barth Wiedrich.
